Baoshan City's 6th Vocational Skills Competition – Coffee Industry Division, Successfully Concluded

From 6 to 11, the Coffee Industry Division of the 6th Baoshan City Vocational Skills Competition was successfully held at Baoshan Technician College. Centered on learning through competition, training through competition, and industry growth through competition, the event brought together top coffee professionals from across the city to showcase their exceptional craftsmanship and inject strong talent momentum into the high-quality development of Baoshan Arabica coffee.

This competition strictly aligns with national occupational skill standards and includes:Coffee Roaster, BaristaTwo core competitions drew 60 participants, with 30 contenders vying for the top spot in each event. The Coffee Roasting Competition focused on roasting and cupping, testing competitors' comprehensive skills in green bean quality assessment, roast curve control, and sensory flavor evaluation. Participants precisely managed roasting parameters to unlock the unique flavors of coffee beans through the fire. The Barista Competition covered brewing, latte art, and creative mixology. Contestants demonstrated professional expertise in standardized extraction while incorporating local ingredients like lemongrass and kiwi for innovative creations, delivering diverse coffee drinks filled with creativity and craftsmanship. The aroma of coffee filled the venue as highlights unfolded throughout. The event upheld principles of fairness and impartiality, supported by a professional judging panel operating under a three-tier control model: "technical guidance + on-site officiating + full-process arbitration." Rigorous evaluations were conducted across multiple dimensions, including operational standards, product quality, and professional ethics, ensuring the competition's professionalism and authority.
